“Fun”-Raiser, on Sunday, May 31, from 12:00 to 4:00 p.m. at the Cavalier Golf and Yacht Club, benefiting the Dozoretz Hospice House of Hampton Roads.

This year, we’ve added even more fun, food, and festivities! In addition to Pickleball, we are excited to introduce Mahjong as a new part of the afternoon. Guests can enjoy Pickleball, Mahjong, Oinking, Drinking, Dining, Live Music and a Silent Auction. Prefer to relax and catch up with friends? There’s plenty of space to do that, too!

All proceeds from this “Fun”-Raiser will benefit the Dozoretz Hospice House of Hampton Roads (HHHR), a 501(c)(3} nonprofit and our region’s first free-standing hospice house. HHHR is dedicated to providing comfort-based care for people with serious illness who qualify for hospice services. Rather than focusing on a cure, hospice care focuses on relieving pain and symptoms, supporting loved ones, and honoring dignity every step of the way.

Hampton Roads need 45 inpatient hospice beds to adequately serve the region. The Dozoretz Hospice House provides the first 12 beds and has already served nearly 700 patients and their families, helping to close a critical gap in compassionate end-of-life care in our community.
